I hit rock bottom on September 22, 2022. After spending a year and a half eating too much and doing nothing, I weighed 248 pounds. Sure, I had a good job and worked hard. People probably thought I was happy. But inside, I felt awful. I had no confidence. No energy. I hated looking in mirrors. I knew right then that something had to change.
One year into my journey, on September 22, 2023, I had lost only 10 pounds. I was stuck at 238. Why? I kept trying quick fixes – keto diets, all-meat diets, even skipping meals. But these crash diets just led to more binge eating. Still, something was different this time. Even though the scale hadn’t moved much, I was getting stronger mentally. I just needed to find a better way.
Six months later, the real changes began. I dropped 24 pounds and got down to 214. How? No crazy diets. No extreme plans. Instead, I found something I could actually stick to: training 4 times a week, walking 10,000 steps daily, and eating less while still enjoying my favorite foods. The secret was keeping it simple and making it fit my life. I was proud of how far I’d come, but I knew this was just the beginning.
Here I am on November 22, 2024 – down 62 pounds to 186! Even better, I gained 8 pounds of muscle along the way, which means I actually burned 70 pounds of fat. Looking back, I always knew I had this in me. I just needed to find the right way to do it. Now I know the truth: with the right plan and someone to keep you on track, you can do anything.
